Description
This is Unitree's tendon-driven dexterous hand, the Dex2/5, made for the G1 and R1 humanoids. Its five fingers carry ten joints, but only two are actuated: one moves the thumb and one moves the index, middle, ring and little fingers together, through a gear-tendon rope drive with the wiring routed inside the hand.
That design is what sets it apart from Unitree's other hands. The Dex3-1 gives the G1 three force-controlled fingers, and the Dex5-S drives each of its 22 joints individually. The Dex2/5 gives up individual finger control for a simple, light hand: 365 g, 151 × 70 × 63 mm when flat, closing into a fist in 0.5 s and gripping objects down to 8 mm across.
It is built to take knocks. Unitree states that the complete hand has passed more than 100,000 fatigue cycles and over 100 drop tests. Fingertip force is 15 N at the thumb and 15 N shared across the four fingers, and with the palm down or turned left it holds up to 1.5 kg when grasping a 5 cm round hard object.
It runs from 24–60 V and communicates over RS-485 at 1,000 Hz, reporting joint mode, position, velocity, torque, temperature, voltage and current, and accepting position, velocity, torque, stiffness and damping commands. Whether you receive a left or right hand, or a pair, and the mounting for your robot are confirmed with your quotation.

Frequently Asked Questions
It is Unitree's tendon-driven five-finger hand, the Dex2/5. Its ten joints are moved by two actuators through a gear-tendon rope drive.
The Dex3-1 is a three-finger force-controlled hand for the G1, and the Dex5-S drives all 22 of its joints individually. The Dex2/5 moves all four fingers with one actuator and the thumb with another, trading individual finger control for a light 365 g hand.
Unitree makes it for the G1 and R1 humanoids. Hand side, quantity and mounting for your robot are confirmed with your quotation.
Up to 1.5 kg when grasping a 5 cm round hard object with the palm down or turned left. Fingertip force is 15 N at the thumb and 15 N in total across the four fingers.
The Unitree Tendon-Driven Dexterous Hand is priced at Rs. 145,900 in your market.
From a 24–60 V supply, over RS-485 at 1,000 Hz. It reports joint mode, position, velocity, torque, temperature, voltage and current, and accepts position, velocity, torque, stiffness and damping commands.
