Description
The Unitree Go2 X is the version of the Go2 quadruped that sits between the Go2 Pro and the Go2 EDU. It keeps the Pro's body, perception and connectivity and adds a faster top speed, a higher maximum payload, compatibility with Unitree's charging pile, a manual controller in the package and partial secondary development.
It weighs about 15 kg with its battery and measures 70 × 31 × 40 cm standing. Normal running covers 0–3.7 m/s, with up to about 5 m/s measured in the lab; it carries about 8 kg in normal work and about 12 kg at most, and handles 40° slopes and steps of about 16 cm. Twelve aluminium knee-joint motors with heat-pipe cooling reach about 45 N·m, and an 8-core high-performance CPU runs its advanced, AI and 3D LiDAR mapping modes.
Perception and connectivity match the Pro: Unitree's super-wide-angle 4D LiDAR, an HD wide-angle camera, the wireless vector positioning module behind ISS 2.0 side-follow, voice functions, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and a 4G module with GPS. Outside mainland China the 4G function covers 43 European countries, Ukraine excepted, and some Asian regions.
Where it stops short of the EDU: no foot-end force sensors, no depth camera, no high-compute module option, the standard 8,000 mAh battery for about one to two hours rather than the 15,000 mAh long-endurance pack, and partial rather than full secondary development. Teams that need SDK-level access, Orin compute or longer runtime should look at the Go2 EDU. For education, demonstrations and inspection trials, the X is the fastest Go2 outside the EDU line.

Frequently Asked Questions
It runs faster (0–3.7 m/s, up to about 5 m/s in the lab, against the Pro's 3.5 m/s), carries more at its maximum (about 12 kg against 10 kg), is compatible with Unitree's charging pile, includes the manual controller and adds partial secondary development. The Pro keeps an auto-scaling strap that the X does not have.
The EDU adds foot-end force sensors, a depth camera, a high-compute module option, full secondary development and a 15,000 mAh long-endurance battery with a fast charger. The X shares the EDU's speed and payload figures without those additions.
Partly. The X offers partial secondary development; the exact scope is confirmed with your quotation. For full SDK-level access and Orin compute, the Go2 EDU is the version to choose.
About one to two hours on the standard 8,000 mAh smart battery, recharged with the standard 33.6 V 3.5 A charger.
The Unitree Go2 X Robot Dog is priced at Rs. 586,500 in your market.
Outside mainland China, the Go2's 4G function supports 43 European countries, excluding Ukraine, and some Asian regions. Elsewhere the robot connects over WiFi 6 and Bluetooth.
