The HIKVISION DS-65VA300U(pro) is a compact USB microphone and speaker, offered here as an add-on for the Deep Robotics X30 and LYNX M20 quadrupeds. It is an accessory, not a robot: the quadruped in the photos is a separate purchase. Mounted on the robot, it lets the operator talk with people standing next to it. The robot provides its power and control, and the voice link runs through the robot's controller and software.

Four MEMS microphones pick up sound from every direction within a 3 m radius, with a 100 Hz–8 kHz frequency response, -38 dBV/Pa sensitivity, a 66 dB signal-to-noise ratio and 94 dB dynamic range. Echo cancellation, noise reduction for steady and sudden noise, automatic gain control and anti-reverberation keep speech clear, sampled at 16 kHz.

The built-in 3 W speaker reaches 82 dB SPL at 1 m and covers a 5 m radius, with 150 Hz–16 kHz effective bandwidth. Five LEDs show its state: white while the microphones are picking up sound, red when they are not. It connects over a USB 3.0 Type-A cable without drivers, draws at most 4.5 W at 5 V, and works with Windows, Android 8.1 and later, Linux 4.14 and later and macOS 10.12 and later.

It measures 120 × 120 × 41.4 mm, weighs 275 g and is rated for 0 °C to 45 °C at under 90 % humidity without condensation; ingress protection for outdoor or wet use is confirmed with the quotation.
