The Deep Robotics LYNX M20S is an industry-grade wheeled quadruped robot built for industrial inspection, hazardous-environment operations, emergency-response support, and field research. Its defining feature is wheel-leg locomotion that blends the speed of wheels with the terrain adaptability of legs, backed by autonomous terrain recognition and adaptive gait control that adjust posture and movement to match the environment. Hyper-flexible joints allow posture transitions for constrained spaces such as tunnels, pipelines, and steps. An autonomy stack centred on dual 96-line LiDAR (360° × 90° field of view), dual wide-angle cameras, and onboard industrial compute delivers omnidirectional obstacle avoidance and point-cloud surround view for navigation in complex outdoor and semi-structured settings.

Ruggedised to IP66 with a −20°C to 55°C operating range, the LYNX M20S is suited to dusty environments and exposure to strong water jets. Hot-swappable dual batteries let either battery be replaced while the robot stays powered on, reducing downtime on long missions, with up to 3 hours of unloaded endurance and 15 km range. With a 15 kg payload capacity (50 kg maximum load), a 25 cm continuous-stair capability, and a 45° maximum slope, it carries inspection payloads — camera systems, thermal modules, or specialised sensors — across power and infrastructure sites, high-risk reconnaissance zones, and mixed-terrain field operations, and serves as a research platform for terrain adaptation and perception-guided locomotion.
