Description
The Booster K1 Professional carries the most computing of any K1: an NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin 32GB delivering 200 TOPS, with an 8-core Cortex-A78AE CPU at 2.2 GHz, 32 GB of memory and 512 GB of storage, in Booster's compact humanoid of about 95 cm and 19.5 kg with 22 degrees of freedom.
That is 200 TOPS against the K1 Education's 117 and four times its memory, for teams that run heavier AI on the robot itself: perception on the stereo depth camera at 30 or 60 fps, your own ROS 2 nodes and Agents, and policies trained in Isaac Lab with booster_train and run on the robot with booster_deploy.
Development works as on every K1: the Python SDK (boosteros) and the C++ SDK on Fast DDS, ROS 2 Humble on the robot, CUSTOM mode that hands every joint to your code, URDF and MJCF models, MuJoCo and Webots, and the Booster Studio IDE. The body walks in every direction at up to 2 m/s, turns at up to 1.5 rad/s and gets back up after a fall; the 5 Ah battery charges inside the robot and gives about 1 hour 10 minutes of walking at 1.1 m/s. It ships in a wheeled hard transport case with its battery, the charger, the remote controller, a folding stool and a package list.
The K1 Education is the same robot with a Jetson Orin NX 8GB (117 TOPS, 8 GB of memory). The K1 Geek Edition is the entry edition, with a 48 TOPS (dense) ARM processor and a 2 Ah battery.

Computing. The Professional's Jetson AGX Orin 32GB gives 200 TOPS with an 8-core Cortex-A78AE at 2.2 GHz and 32 GB of memory; the K1 Education has a Jetson Orin NX 8GB with 117 TOPS, a 6-core CPU at 2 GHz and 8 GB. Storage (512 GB), the 5 Ah battery, the 30 or 60 fps camera, the body and the hard case are the same.
Your own software next to the robot's built-in Agents: programs written with the Python SDK (boosteros) or the C++ SDK, ROS 2 Humble nodes on the robot, policies trained with booster_train in Isaac Lab and deployed with booster_deploy, and Agents built with Booster's Agent development framework. The stereo depth camera's streams can run at 60 fps.
No. Every K1 edition has 22 degrees of freedom (head 2, each arm 4, each leg 6) and its arms end without hands or grippers. The K1 Geek Edition, K1 Education and K1 Professional differ in the on-board computer, the battery and the packaging, not in the body.
The K1 robot and its battery, the charger, the remote controller, a folding stool and a package list, in a wheeled hard transport case with a security seal and a combination lock. The K1 Geek Edition ships in Booster's printed retail box instead. The full packing list of your edition is confirmed with your quotation.
In an open, flat area of at least 2 m × 2 m with no people or obstacles in the robot's range, at −10 °C to 45 °C and 5–90 % humidity without condensation. Full-body dances need a hard floor such as rubber, cement or tile; carpet raises the risk of a fall. While the robot moves, touch it only by the carrying handle, and never lift it in WALK mode. Use a hoist when developing in CUSTOM mode.
The K1 Professional ships with Booster's manufacturer warranty. It is sourced new through established distribution channels and ships worldwide, and technical support is coordinated with the manufacturer's service network. Booster's online documentation centre holds the K1 product manual, the developer guide and the release notes, with video lessons from unboxing to packing.
